Napa Valley may be best known for its world-class wineries, but it also offers an unforgettable golf experience surrounded by some of California’s most beautiful vineyard landscapes. During my recent trip, I had the chance to play three distinct courses—Eagle Vines Golf Club, Chardonnay Golf Club, and Vintner’s Golf Club—each showcasing a different side of Napa’s charm.
At Eagle Vines Golf Club, dramatic elevation changes, rolling fairways, and panoramic vineyard views created a challenging yet rewarding round. The course winds through the hills with a layout that feels both secluded and scenic, offering plenty of memorable shots along the way.
Just down the road, Chardonnay Golf Club delivered a completely different experience. Framed by hundreds of acres of vineyards and mature oak trees, the course blends seamlessly into the Napa countryside. Water hazards, strategic bunkering, and picturesque vineyard-lined fairways make it one of the region’s most iconic golfing destinations.
To round out the trip, Vintner’s Golf Club in Yountville provided a more relaxed and approachable atmosphere. While shorter in length, the course is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect option for golfers looking to enjoy a leisurely round in the heart of wine country.
Whether you’re planning a dedicated golf trip or looking to mix a few rounds into a wine-tasting weekend, Napa Valley offers the perfect pairing of championship-caliber golf, stunning scenery, and world-renowned hospitality.
