RIP Wat Misaka

One of the originals to bring acclaim to the Nisei community through sports.

The first person of Japanese descent to play professional basketball unknowingly made history with his short stint for the New York Knicks showed the local youth that an Asian American man can go above and beyond.

He was truly a pioneer for the ages and I am glad to have told him this in person.
