As 2018 Comes To An End...

This year was a teaching year... it taught me how to deal with pain, persistence, love, hate, anger, depression and fear. But if there was one lesson that I hold onto dearest, it was forgiveness. Not only forgiveness in others who have hurt me and those that I love, but forgiveness in myself. Everyone makes mistakes and we don't live in a perfect world, so as long as we lift everyone up and keep doing so, we'll get by each and every day without too many problems.

I stepped away from social media and the internet to make the moments that mattered worth it. I spent more time with my wife, who has been a constant rock by my side... even though she has gone through her fair share of battles with and against me. I'm seeing my daughter transform from a newborn to a toddler in front of my very eyes. Her youthful exuberance and cheeriness brighten up my day and I feel like each day is a blessing seeing her grow.

Treasuring every meaningful moment is what matters most. Thank you all for sharing this one with me.
