Ode To Dr. Seuss
Dr Seuss books were a staple of every children's reading list from age three to five. Being an enthusiastic young reader, I certainly credit the literary works of Theodor Seuss Geisel for helping me get through many sleepless nights and propelling my imagination to new heights.
Today will commemorate the 111th birthday of Dr. Seuss, and although it might not be a number worth noting, it's important to reflect on the timelessness that his work has carried on over more than a century. For anyone I've spoken with in depth, it is a known fact that it has always been a dream of mine to create a storybook that would give hope and meaning to the world just as he did.
He taught us a lesson, and that was to be as silly and childish as possible. Just for that tidbit of advice, I consider it a true blessing to have read your stories. I will continue to pass it onto my future children as well.
Perhaps when the time is right, I will share these ideas with all of you.
