"An encounter with a Hiroshima atomic bombing survivor is something that you'll remember for the rest of your life" is what Dean's mother told me.
Kaz Suyeishi has been kind enough to accept our invitation to tell her story to the University of California, Riverside. She is a good friend of ours and it was an amazing experience for everybody in the building that listened to her story. She is a hibakusha, which is a Japanese term for atom bomb survivor.
Here is an article about Mrs. Suyeishi. She has traveled around the world telling her courageous story about the events that took place on August 6, 1945.
Rest in peace. We will not repeat the same mistake again. No more Hiroshima. No more Nagasaki. No more Hibakusha. No more any war. " May peace prevail on earth.”
Don't be surprised if I turn Kaz's story into a movie one day.
