Climb to the C

Lesson learned. Mountains cannot be surmounted except by winding paths.

This weekend, through brotherhood and teamwork, we were able to accomplish tough tasks. The pledges, accompanied by me, Brian, and Jackson set off to hike to the C. That was not the challenge wasn't the hike, but that each person had to hike up with 5 pounds of water and a 35 lb weight that each of them had to take turns carrying up the mountain.

I realized when I got up there that it wasn't enough just to reach the C, but I had to go up higher. Taking into consideration that it was a much steeper climb, I quickly rushed to the mountain. Soon... others started to follow. Once we made it to the top of the mountain, we learned so much from it. We learned that there was another easier way to get to the C, and we learned that anyone can do it the easy way, but it took a true winner to make it up the hard way.
